Join us for a Disabled 4 Disabled workshop, exploring that sweet spot where our desires and our access needs are both properly tended to. In this virtual space for collective wisdom and curiosity, we will identify common issues that come up when practicing kink as people with chronic, often intense pain that affects our comfort, mobility and state of mind, and we will discuss ways to better support our body/minds in experiencing sensual and blissful states during play. Participants will leave with templates and tools to help create the kinky experiences they want to have. Folks with all levels of experience are warmly welcomed, and this space will center disabled people.
carrie sarah kaufman is a queer, multiply disabled, white, jewish femme. ck is a kitchen witch, artist and survivor who cares about providing pleasure focused sex education for disabled people and supporting disabled survivors. she is the creator of DisabledParts.com, a website featuring stories about disabled sexuality, and she is part of the team behind the Chicago ramp share initiative and the cofounder of the Chicago mask project. she is full of fire, water, and honey.
