What is the relationship between masturbation and self-love? Masturbation is among one of the most common sexual behaviors. Flicking the bean, jacking off-- whatever you want to call it-- it's normal and healthy! Our attitudes about loving our bodies can be complicated, challenging, and also liberating. Let's dive into a discussion of masturbation as an expression of self-love and mindful exploration. Gentle, meditative movements of Qigong will be incorporated to help us cultivate a deeper appreciation for our body, mind, and heart connections. **There will be no demonstration of masturbation during the workshop**

Chelsea (she/they) is a Philadelphia-based sexuality educator; she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lycoming College and her master’s degree in human sexuality education from Widener University. Much of her teaching experience started and grew at Passional Boutique & Sexploratorium in 2015. She has also taught at community centers, events, festivals, and virtually online. Her passion lies in facilitating workshops focused on pleasure-based education and interactive discussions that encourage the normalization and exploration of sensitive sexuality topics. She finds immense joy in providing a safe space to help others authentically express their sexuality without judgement. 

Celeste Montgomery is a certified instructor of Wuji Hundun Qigong and Supreme Science Qigong, and a Level One Reiki practitioner. She earned her B.S. in Communication from PennWest Clarion University. She has personally studied with Senior Qigong Teacher Francesco Garripoli, Master Mingtong Gu, and Ed Howard. She incorporates into her teaching the methods and movements of these and many other experienced Qigong instructors as she seeks to deepen her own personal practice and introduce the benefits of Qigong to others. Introduced to Qigong in 2017, she began practicing daily and experienced immediate and long-term benefits, including release and clearing of stress, depression, and emotional trauma, establishment of calmness and improved clarity of mind, easing of joint pain, and a greater sensitivity to energy. These experiences motivate her to share this deeply profound practice with others through teaching.
